Frequently asked questions

My certificate works in Chrome but fails elsewhere — why?

Almost always a missing intermediate certificate. Browsers often cache intermediates from other sites; other clients do not. This check shows whether the chain your server sends is complete.

How early should I renew?

Automate renewal at around 30 days remaining. Most issuers allow renewal well before expiry.
